
Our clients requested a grown up drawing room, a space that allowed family life to be slightly shut off and some slightly formal elegance enjoyed.
We joined the complete renovation of this Richmond family house after structural work had begun which presented immediate challenges as we felt the new proposed floor plans needed a rethink to better suit this growing family. We are proud of how we tackled this and the brief for a Classic Contemporary space; the clients wanted a scheme that was luxurious and grown up but also fun and relevant to their age and lifestyle.
Luxurious details such as pocket doors with intricate geometric mouldings inset with panels of antique mirror glass give the ability to create a secluded grown up space within a practical family living area.
Fun is introduced to the boy’s bedroom, with bold colours and patterns combined to give an almost tailored look – a very smart space that we hope this toddler won’t grow out of too quickly!
