The fabric chosen for the curtains wonderfully frames the gardens and Oxfordshire landscape beyond.
Having worked with these clients previously, we were asked to integrate their existing furniture and artwork into our scheme for this striking new build country house, whilst adding new pieces and curtains/blinds throughout. With so many rooms and windows to dress, we loved sourcing the fabrics , giving each a distinct personality and decorative style.
Although the building and proportions of the rooms are grand, our clients really wanted this to feel like home, especially when filled with their children and grandchildren. Our clients have a passion for art but were careful in their inclusion of paintings and sculptures. The overall effect is a sense of space with interesting pieces placed strategically throughout making the property feel both impressive and homely.

The adjoining dining room has french doors opening out onto the terrace – the floral embroidered curtains frame the views and tie the dining chair upholstery into the scheme.

A modern casual kitchen lounge featuring a study snook.
We added some beautiful eyelet sheer curtains to the doors to the swimming pool.
A staircase to make a statement from.
A view from the first floor landing mixing classical style with a contemporary lighting feature. We love how the globular contours of this chandelier have the softened look of molten glass.
We found this fabric early on and the client fell in love with it so we were very happy to put it in a guest bedroom.
