A traditional Double Reception showcasing some of our clients art collection.
This listed Georgian property is on a beautiful square in Islington and had been owned by our client for many years. Requiring a full renovation, we worked with our client balancing the traditional and classical brief with modern interpretations, incorporating the unexpected – splashes of the more fun side of our clients’ personalities and tackling the aesthetic demands as well as the practical needs of a family home.

We designed a bespoke mirror designed to fit sympathetically with the original fireplace and room decor.
A bold berry red Coat Room complete with some stunning velvet curtains, which add a little drama whilst referencing a love of all things Italian.
We commissioned an artist to paint a bookcase wall at the bottom of the stairs, trompe l'oeil style, complete with some of our clients' favourite books, including personalised titles. And beyond a glimpse of a fun Cloakroom toilet.
We love to see the Cloakroom as an opportunity for clients to be a bit bold - however it's also important to meet practical concerns. Here we included an inset mirror unit so that the Cloakroom can always look presentable but there is also somewhere to put things such as childrens' toothbrushes.
A classic kitchen with a fine feature Aga, a stunning fabric was found and used in the curtains and blinds - working with the colour scheme and bringing the outside in. We particularly like the stone flooring.
An existing beautiful armoire takes pride of place in the Master Bedroom, the incredible full height windows are double layered with sheers and curtains.
The design concept evolved from the client’s recollection of a beautiful bathroom in a hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Central to this memory was the ‘white with touches of green’ marble and ‘gold brassware’ – the space had felt light and classical but also had a touch of the grand and a splash of drama.
Vanity unit providing ‘his’ and ‘hers’ basins with storage beneath and a central knee hole which is used as a dressing table space (with a discreet drawer). During the early stages of construction we discovered there was sufficient void space to make use of the wall depth to create bespoke mirror cabinetry – thus our clients have mirror cabinets above each station of the vanity unit. This eye level storage is something we often incorporate into schemes to make regularly used items easy to access and avoid the unit top becoming cluttered.
Shelves, hidden from view are in the chimney space to allow for a glass of wine whilst unwinding in the bath.
